A heavy wall gun, so-called "Doppelhaken" (Double Hook). German, circa 1540. Bronze with a dark patina from age. A twice stepped, round barrel with a smooth bore in 27 mm calibre with a coat of arms laid on top. Dovetailed sights. There is a rectangular priming pan on the side with remnants of the iron hinge pin for the missing pan cover. Large hook and securing ring on the underside.
