Langley, Slough, Berkshire, UK. 31st January, 2023. A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service fire crew return to Langley Fire Station from a shout. Firefighters have announced that they are to take strike action over pay. Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) voted for action in a ballot that closed on yesterday. This will be be first firefighters strike in the UK over pay since 2003. 88% voted for strike action with a turnout of 88% of members.
