Marines replace an alternator on a HMMWV aboard USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during maintenance on vehicles, Oct. 13. Conducting vehicle maintenance allows for the Marine Expeditionary Unit to be ready and rapidly deploy in support of NATO allies and partners for Exercise Trident Juncture 18. Marines are with motor transport, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division.
