Nero's House in Olympia, Greece. Artist: Samuel Magal

Nero's House in Olympia, Greece. The House of Nero, a 1st century villa off the southeastern corner of the Altis, was hurriedly built for the emperor's visit to Olympia. Olympia, a sanctuary of ancient Greece, is probably best known for having been the site of the Olympic Games in classical times.
