Umbria Perugia Pale Eremo di S. Maria Giacobbe, this is my Italy, the italian country of visual history, Post-medieval Architecture, fresco wall decoration. This structure was partly sculpted out of the rocks on the hillside and its interior is completely covered with frescoes dating from the 14th and 15th centuries. Above the main altar is a representation of S. Maria Giacobbe, by Lattanzio di Nicolo 1507. Reimagined by Gibon. Classic art with a modern twist
