GLADIOLUS There are no other summer-flowering bulbs so satisfactory, needing so littleattention and thriving so well in almost any ordinary soil as the GladiolusOur list is a selection of the cream of hundreds of varieties which are grownon our own farm, under our own supervision, and this year are unusuallyfine and large. Set the bulbs from three to six inches apart in rows, or formassing six inches apart, and about four inches deep. Plant from middle ofApril to first of June.
