People picking the Rondo grapes at Chilford Hall in Linton, year there is a bumper crop due to the summer heatwave. English wine makers are reporting their BEST YEAR ever, thanks to this year’s record-breaking heatwave summer. Many UK vineyards have experienced their earliest harvests on record, with most picking up to TWO WEEKS earlier than usual. They are predicting a BUMPER harvest with high quality grapes, as a result of near perfect growing conditions due to the long hot summer and mild start to Autumn.
