Trade has been about the same as at the last report. The state fair last week called for a little additional stock. Good asters are scarce. Dahlias are ar- riving in fair quantity, with little de- mand. Lilies and glads are still plenti- ful. Some first-class Beauties and roses are to be seen, but with little call. Various Notes. The Indiana State Fair was held here last week. While the entries were a ^appointment, the displays were cred- itable. Fred Dorner, of La Fayette, acted as judge. The Pahud Floral Co., the Roepke & Bieman Co. and the Reinken Floral Co., all of this city, were represented in nearly all the classes, and the awards were divided pretty evenly among them. B. F. Haugh, father of J. E. A. Haugh, of Stuart & Haugh, Anderson Ind., died last week, after being con- fined to the house for about six months. Mr. Haugh was 83 years old. Haugli- ville, a suburb of Indianapolis, was foijnded by Mr. Haugh, when he was in the foundry business there, in 1880. The funeral services wore held at An- derson, and the buria
