Image from the photo album of Oberleutnant Oscar Müller of Kampfgeschwader 1: Junkers Ju 88 A-4 V4+EN (Werk Nr. 3543) ground-looped in poor weather on 13th March 1942. Such accidents could be fatal for any crewmembers squeezed into the cockpit of the Ju 88 and on this occasion Radio Operator Obergefreiter Hans Lemke was killed when the aircraft overturned during a non-operational March 1942.
