NAL RUN-OFF OF ALAMEDA CREEK OVER NILES AND SUNOL DAMS FROM 1889-90 TO 1907-08. 110a NILES DAM BUILT TO HOLD VALLEJO LOCATION. Ill The Niles dam was built for the purpose ofholding the original General Vallejo locationof intake to the former mill race, and, secondly,to divert the water of the Creek into the Nilesaqueduct of the Spring Valley Water Works. The dam was not built with the view of act-ing as a weir for the purpose of measuring thewater flowing over it.
