Early foliage protecting growing flower buds of Lesser Burdock / Arctium minus. Formerly used in traditional folk medicine, & roots / stems also eaten

I believe this to be Arctium minus / Lesser Burdock since the stalks of the flower buds are relatively short when compared to long (almost) flower stalks of Greater Burdock / A. lappa. Also, the base leaves are not as rounded as those of A. lappa. That said, both species were used in traditional herbal medicine, while parts of both plants can be eaten, though are very bitter and need plenty of water to draw out that taste.
