The lobbies of all these theaters arequite successful. Those of the GoldenGate and the Hill Street are an ex-tremely good rendering of SpanishGothic. Mr. Lansburgh cleverly converted a lial)ility into an asset, bymaking the central column a motif for a fan vault ceiling.
