The Honorable Roger Q. Mills was a prominent Texas politician in the late 19th century. He served in the US House of Representatives and later in the US Senate, where he championed states' rights and fiscal conservatism. He also played a key role in the development of the silver coinage policy and was a vocal opponent of the McKinley Tariff.
