February, Monday 4, 2013 – The Minister for Taxation Holger K. Nielsen is replying to a question in the Danish Youth Parliament in Folketinget held every second year by the Danish Parliament. The 179 seats are taken by Danish secondary students, grades 8 and 9, invited to become politicians for one day. The purpose is to introduce the rules on which democracy is based in order to increase understanding of the processes leading to democratic decisions and to understand the interplay between the democratic decision-making processes.
