The repeating symmetrical pattern consists of an arc formed by two hanging flower stems, with a large round flower with a worked-out heart of flowers and a whimsically lobed edge halfway through. Under the arch there is an oval cartouche along the underside of the strip, flanked by pointed leaves and topped by a v-shaped leaf with a loose flower above it.
