Karl Zeidler is having a big run on funeral work. Mrs. J. C. Elspcrmann has much fu- neral work to take care of each day. The houses at her place have been wired for electricity. The Lockyear Floral Co. is cutting a nice lot of carnations and roses. Busi- ness is good with this company. Theodore Kuebler is bringing in good carnations and other cut flowers. He lias fine Paper Whites and other bulbous stock. Saturday, January 21, when the streets and country roads were covered with ice, Mr. Kuebler slid into a ditch with his automobile shortly after leav- ing the greenhouses. No damage was done.
