Anterior Tibial Artery in its Lower Third.—The incisionis two inches in length, beginning three inches above theankle-joint on the line of the artery. The artery is found in the interspace betweenthis tendon and the tendon of the extensor longus digito-rum muscle, the nerve being to the outer side.
