The Rue de la Monnaie (Money street) of one of the oldest street of Lille or Rijsel (Flemish name). The ancient Hotel de La Monnaie, the Hospice Comtesse Museum, the alignment of old houses (18th century) are places of interest. Many houses are decorated with original and restored sculptures (delphins, palms, flowers). Today, there are many shops of the latest fashion. On Sundays, there is a famous market (vegetables, fruits, seafood, poultry, book), wellknown by the tourists and habitants.
