C, January 30, Lemuel Jeffries, Wuoster, 0.: Just returned from General Carrolls country home, where he died Saturday, from pneumonia-Burial at Arlington, Wednesday. J. H. Carr. Later information gives the facts that his death took place at his country residence, Belle View,Takoma Park, a suburb of Washington. It was entirely unlooked for by his family and friends, hehaving been ill only about a week.
