The square in which this statue THE OLD TITHING HOUSE. stands is flanked upon the right and left by two of SaltLake Citys most imposing structures. That on the righthand being the Templeton Building occupied by Zions Sav-ings Bank and Trust Co., while on the left stands thebeautiful building of the Deseret Xews, the oldest paperin the far west. This building with its annex is the mostcommodious of any in the inter-mountain country and isoccupied in part by the General Offices of the Oregon ShortLine Railway.
