A pair of percussion pistols, Schlegel, Munich, circa 1830. Eight-groove rifled octagonal barrels in 12 mm calibre with patent breeches. Dovetailed silver front sights and rear sights adjustable for elevation. There is decorative gold inlay with the signature "Schlegel" and the inscription, "Canon fer de faux" on the muzzles and breeches. Engraved percussion locks. Single set triggers. Chiselled dragons on the cocks. The lock plates are inscribed "MÜNCHEN" in gold. The side plates show dragons in nickel silver inlay. Carved walnut half stocks with checkered gri,
