Blakeney is a coastal village and lies within the Norfolk's coast area of outstanding natural beauty and the north Norfolk heritage coast. Blakeney Point is one of the largest expanses of undeveloped coastal habitat in Europe. It is most famous for its large colony of Grey and common seals which congregate out on the tip of the point.
