Studio flat in a converted Victorian church in Queens Park. Arranged on two floors with the top floor enclosed by the impressive timber structure of the church’s apse, the scheme installs a new solid timber staircase which opens up the lower living space to the roof structure. Wainscotting is set against the original red brickwork of the church and the tops of stained glass windows. Other features are exposed in the kitchen and bathroom to create a comfortable and quirky pied-à-terre.
