There are 30 buckets of 1000 lb. capacity, each. Lock-coilsteel cables are used, the track rope on the loaded-bucket side being1 1/8 diam., on the empty side 7/8 diam., and the traction or pullingrope 5/8 diam. An automatic, track oiler is passed over the line onceevery 5 days, spreading crude fuel-oil on the cable. The buckets areheld onto the traction rope by a grip which is attached and detached.
