Maj. Donald Davenport, a pilot with the 171st Air Refueling Squadron, conducts a pre-flight check on a KC-135 Stratotanker, Sept. 11, prior to departing with six other crew members all based here. The two-day mission, unless re-tasked, will require the service members to transport 45 personnel from the Nebraska Army National Guard to Jacksonville to help with humanitarian efforts and clean-up after Hurricane Irma left the region devastated.
