This tank and other military vehicles and equipment were abandoned here by the Libyan Army in the Ennedi region of the Sahara in Chad following the Chadian-Libyan conflict from 1978 to 1987. The skeleton of a dead desert animal is in the foreground. Photographed in March 2014.
