500 GP Legend Wayne Rainey was back on his Yamaha YZR at Goodwood Festival Of Speed 30 years after his career ending crash. On June 24th 2022 Wayne Rainey three times world 500cc Champion was joined by other 500cc grand prix greats, Mick Doohan, Kevin Schwantz and Kenny Roberts. Heading up the hill at Goodwood, Wayne Rainey waved to cheering crowds while riding his YZR Yamaha 5OO. People attending the festival could get up close to the machines and riders in the motorcycle paddock. Mick Doohan and Kevin Schwantz were on hand to sign autographs.
