In Central Asia, some pre islamic beliefs have been incorporated into the newly arrived religion ( Islam). Traditionally, hunters and herders had to please the master spirit of the animal they wanted to kill before going to hunt. Here is an example of hunters and herders worshipping the master spirit of the marco polo sheep before going to hunt these sheeps.
