Brända tomten is an idyllic square in Gamla stan. The three-tiered square was created after the great fire in 1740 as a turning area for horse-drawn carts. There are benches under the large chestnut tree. The writer August Strindberg is said to have often sat here. Restaurant "Under the Chestnut". Brända Tomten, Stockholm, Sweden
