A model 1810/35 Jäger rifle., Octagonal barrel with seven groove rifling in 15 mm calibre. Dovetailed fixed rear sight with two folding leaves. Converted lock with a hinged nipple protector. Lock plate has the maker's mark, "Saarn" as well as "FW". Set trigger. Walnut stock with brass furniture, and patch box. Bayonet mounting on the side removed by a military armorer.
