Aster Amellus King George SUMMER-FLOWERING HARDY ASTERS The following grow from 12 to 15 inches high and produce their showy flowers during July and August. Their free-flower- ing habit and compact growth make them most desirable subjects for the front of the mixed border. Acris. A neat variety, completely covered with violet-blue flowers. Amellus Beauty of Ronsdorf. Of a tender lilac-rose, perfect in form and entirely distinct. â â Perry's Favorite. A most distinct bright, clear rose. â Preziosa. A fine deep violet-blue. Brachytrichus. Very free and in bloom until late in Septem- ber; graceful, bright silvery-mauve flowers. Ptarmicoides. White flowers, not large, but produced in great masses; fine for cutting. Price.
