This is a roughly 150° panorama of the sunset sky at Sunset Point, Bryce Canyon, Utah, taken as the last light of the Sun was illuminating the distant buttes. The sky has subtle dark rays converging to the anti-solar point, the point opposite the Sun. These are anti-crepuscular rays – shadows cast by clouds in this case, such as the one at left. The ridge at left of centre on the horizon is Shakespear Point. This is a panorama of 7 segments, each segment an HDR blend of 3 exposures (under, correct, and over), all stitched in Adobe Camera Raw. With the RF15-35mm lens at 35mm and and on the Canon R5 at ISO 100. Taken October 11, 2023. Sky contrast enhanced to bring out the crepuscular rays. A mild Orton effect added to the ground to make it glow, as it does at Bryce.
