Marines assigned to Task Force 61/2 (TF 61/2) hold a promotion ceremony July 1, 2022 in Naples, Italy. TF-61/2 provides command and control amphibious and expeditionary capabilities on an experimental basis within the European Command (EUCOM) and Africa Command’s (AFRICOM) area of operations (AOO) to protect interests, reassure Allies and Partners, and enable integrated deterrence of adversaries.
