THE Klotz Shaping Saw Machine is spe-cially made and designed for cuttingout Shapes or Blanks for Handles,Spokes and similar work, from planks or slabsafter they are cut from the log. The frame is made from hard wood andfirmly bolted together. The table is made ofwell-seasoned ash strips, glued together, andruns on large turned rolls, with wrought ironaxles and metal bearing. A chuck is attachedto the table for holding the timber; the sameis adjustable for different lengths of work, andis very quickly operated by a suitable mandrel is of steel, and the balance-wheelis turned so as to run perfectly true.
