I believe it means for theminor associations more helpful recog-nition from the larger associations,which in turn will lead to a better un-derstanding and co-operation along thelines of economical standardization oflocomotive parts and appliances. I amin favor of this organization delegatingthe chairman of the executive commit-tee with power to advise and act withother executive chairmen of all me-chanical organizations for the purposeof exchanging views on the subjectwith all concerned and at a time which. W. W. SCOTT,President General Foremens Assn, 1914-15. will enable a report to be made in1915. I would not advise any plan beingadopted that would take away fromany of the minor organizations theirindividuality.
