Love locks on parapet of the Carl-Zuckmayer pedestrian bridge that crosses the Rudolphe-Wilde park in Tempelhof-Schöneberg,Berlin The bridge is for pedestrians & cyclists and forms the roof of the Rathaus Schöneberg U-Bahn station. It is decorated with stone figures & vases on a parapet, from which wide stairs lead down to the two parts of the park. The four groups of figures on the parapets of the bridge are by sculptor Richard Guhr and are tritons with nymphs on their backs. The bridge connects the northern and southern parts of Innsbrucker Straße and is named after writer, Carl Zuckmayer, who worked with Bertolt Brecht at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin in 1924 and lived at the southern end of the bridge. There is a Memorial plaque for Carl Zuckmayer at Fritz-Elsas-Straße 18 The Rudolph-Wilde park is part of the large Volkspark Wilmersdorf-Schöneberg that partly straddles the boundary of these two boroughs The Volkspark Wilmersdorf part was originally called "Seepark" (lake park), while the Schöneberg section was originally "Stadtpark Schöneberg".
