Kenya is home to more than million AIDS orphans. Dr Karambu Ringera Founder and Executive Director of International Peace Initiatives (IPI) In Meru, Kenya says “We are looking for things that will help add value to the children who have been orphaned because their parents died of AIDS. Add value to them so that the community looks at them not as a burden but as valuable members of the community.” IPI has been running since 2003, supporting over 1,000 children through school.
