Non-magnetic hollow sphere, used for deep sea exploration on the 2nd Galathea expedition (1950-52), designed by Børge Lunn, made by Paul Bergsøe & Søn; placed outside Copenhagen Science City Secretariat on Tagensvej, Copenhagen. The sphere was used to contain instruments to be lowered into the sea at depths of up to 10 kilometres.
