A handsome, vigorous, rapid growing variety, with golden yellow foliage, the brilliancy of which is retained throughout the season. A valuable plant for enlivening shrubberies. 50c. Japan Snowball. Of moderate growth; handsome, plicated leaves, globular heads of pure white neutral flowers early in June. It surpasses the common variety in several respects. Its habit is better, foliage much handsomer, flowers whiter and more delicate. One of the most valuable flowering- shrubs.
