Five crab spiders,including life-size sketches and eye arrangements,as illustrated by Carl Wilhelm Hahn in his Monographia Aranearum,also known as Monographie der Spinnen,in the 1820s. Spiders a & b are male and female slender crab spiders,Tibellus oblongus,native to Europe and America. Spider c is a female Thanatus formicinus. Spider d is Thomisus onustus,and spider e is Xysticus robustus.
