The altitude of the site is sometwelve hundred feet above the sea-level. 4H EATON GENEALOGY The air is breezy, cool and healthful. Theroads are hilly, but the drives are emboweredwith trees, shady and attractive, and theviews from the open heights are can be seen the steeplesof the Warner churches; southerly is Stuartmountain, 1800 feet high; south-westwardly. EATON GRANGE is Loveils mountain. Turning to the rightthe eye takes in Sun ape e mountain, at whosebase nestles Sunapee lake in all its beauty, atan altitude of about 1,100 feet; then , and New London hills, the last withits church and academy, until directly norththe eye rests upon Kearsarge, which in itsmajesty crowns the surrounding landscapeat the height of 2,942 feet. The summit ofthe mountain is about eight miles from the NOVA SCOTIA BRANCH 415 Grange, towards which it descends contin-uously to Stevens brook as that courses itsway toward Warner river along the foot ofKimballs hill (Christie L.
