Plated blade with etched and blued inscription "Zum Abschluss Meiner Lehrzeit Meinem Meister In Dankbarkeit" (On the occasion of the end of my apprenticeship, to my master with gratitude), "Kriegsweihnachten 1940 Edgar Müller" (Christmas 1940) and "1937 - 1940". Blackened steel hilt and pommel (some rust), engraved silvered monogram, sun wheel swastika and oak leaves. Grip edges engraved "Arbeit" and "Adelt" (work ennobles). Red leather scabbard.
