The fact that the flowers are of immense size, 4 to 5 inches or more in diameter, with broad heavy fluted petals which slightly overlap, giving a very full single flower, make it ideal for cut flower use. These large flowers are carried on very long strong stems and are freely produced on plants which reach a height of 3 to 4 feet and have a fairly heavy growth of foliage. The flowers are produced within 8 to 10 weeks from the time seed is sown. PINKIE—Is a delightful rose pink shade Pkt. 20c PURITY—It a glistening white Pkt. 20c MIXED Pkt. 15c ASTER WILT RESISTANT GIANT COMET ILLUSION Still another new color in a wilt resistant Aster, Illusion is a soft, pastel shade of apricot pink, espe- cially fine for cutting and most effective when used in combination with some blue flower, such as the Chinese Forget-Me-Not. The plants are upright, about two feet tall and very free blooming. Since the indi- vidual stems are short, it is customary to cut the whole plant as a unit when using the flowers for bouquets. The strain is wilt resistant and will flower during mid-August Pkt. 25c ASTER WILT RESISTANT CREGO ENCHANTRESS With Enchantress, we are presenting an entirely new color in Asters—a luscious shade of lively salmon rose, distinct from all other colors yet developed.
