Skin dark green, with lighter green stripes. Flesh deep yellow, and of good quality. Weight 12 lb. Seeds have markings re- sembling Japanese characters. KENTUCKY FIELD 10 13 120 A heavy yielding variety widely used for canning, particularly through the South. Fruits large, slightly ribbed, not fixed in shape, some being flat, others globular and elongated; 10-15 lb.; color dull orange; flesh deep yellow, coarse, and of good flavor. LARGE CHEESE 6 12 108 Our pedigreed strain, exceptionally early and uniform, is par- ticularly valuable to canners.
