The brick wall on Pit Street, which backs on to the Main railway line, has been inscribed, chalked, painted with graffiti and slogans listing injuries and deaths allegedly connected to the exploration of shale gas in the USA. These chalked writings list many incidents, are numbered, with names of sufferers and fatalities of human and animals in fracking zones in the United States.
