Mayor of Rome and member of the Five Star Movement (M5S), Virginia Raggi seen leaving the courthouse after being discharged of accusations of corrupt hiring practices. Rome's public prosecutor on Friday requested a ten-month jail term for Virginia Raggi, who became the city's first female mayor in 2016. Virginia Raggi was accused of making false statements regarding the appointment of Renato Marra as Rome's tourism chief.
