. English: Yokai/' Night March of a Hundred Demons' scroll by Tosa Mitsuoki. Tosa Mitsuoki (Japanese: 土佐 光起; 1617–November 14, 1691) was a Japanese painter. Tosa was born in Sakai, Osaka, the son of Tosa Mitsunori (1583–1638), also a painter. His original name was Tosa Fujimitsu, also called Tsuneaki. Tosa lived in the early Edo period (1603–1867).
