Extra Bevelkd Hubs.— Divide the length of the backinto twenty-four equal parts, and cut the board for thelower head and tail hubs four-twenty-fourths, and eight- HUBS 187 twenty-fourths for the center lower hub. Cut the boardfor the upper head and tail two-twenty-fourths, and oneand one-half twenty-fourths for the upper center hubsand four inches longer than the width of the back. Thelower hubs should not be as high as the upper hubs. Glue the board for the lower head and tail hubs, andplace them even with the edge of the board, while thelower center hub is placed on the center between the two,which leaves two panels four-twenty-fourths on thespring-back for titles.
