Thus we have presented a case of ichthyosis. There are two forms, ichthyosis simplex and ichthyosis hystrix,the latter indicating a severe variety, in which there is warty orspinus horny patches, and Schamberg is authority for the statementthat some of these cases are unrelated to true ichthyosis and shouldbe grouped with nevi and papillomata.
