In the Ordnance Museum of the U. S. IM. A. there arevarious battalion colors: (522) CADET, Bat/a/ion Colors of //ic U. S. Corps of Cadets. 523 No. 915 is called Cadet colors presented to the UnitedStates Corps of Cadets by the ladies of Boston. This isevidently the regimental standard spoken of by Mr. is very much torn and soiled, bnt it is obvious that theoriginal color of the silk was white. At the top of thestandard are the ra\S of the sun; at the bottom, a wreath;in the middle of this wreath is the word Essayo)is; in themiddle of the flag is a silk embroidery with three figuresupon it—iMinerva to one side, with her owl at the foot, givesa wreath to IMars, who is upon the other side of the group,in the center of which is the Goddess of Liberty; both sidesof the flag are alike.
